[LG Laptop] Instant Booting Not Working When Opening the Lid

Instant Booting allows your laptop to start automatically when you open the lid, so you don’t need to press the power button. Depending on your model and release date, you can turn this feature on or off in the My gram, LG Smart Assistant, or LG Control Center app.

  10. If the app was removed after reinstalling Windows, you can reinstall it using [LG Update]. On the LG Electronics website, go to [Support > Software] or [Download >], search for your model, then download and install [LG Update]. ※ For Non-OS desktops or laptops (shipped without Windows), install the app using the file provided in the separate partition or download it from the LG Electronics website (Drivers/Downloads).
