How to Set Up LG Sound Suite Wireless Speakers with Dolby Atmos

Use Dolby Atmos FlexConnect to connect your TV or soundbar to wireless speakers without complicated cables. The built-in microphones automatically detect the location of each speaker and optimize the sound for your space. Enjoy an immersive, theater-like listening experience right in your home.

What to Check First

  1. Make sure you have at least two M5 speakers or one M7 speaker.
  2. If you use an H7 soundbar, connect it to your TV with an HDMI cable using the eARC or ARC port.
  3. Place your speakers and subwoofer at least 30 cm (12 inches) away from your TV or soundbar, and at least 1 m (3.3 feet) away from devices that cause wireless interference, like Wi-Fi routers or microwaves.
  4. Turn on the microphone on your TV or soundbar to use Room Calibration Pro. (The microphone is used only to measure room acoustics and does not record your voice.).
  5. If you use an H7 soundbar, connect its power cable. Then, connect an HDMI cable to the ARC or eARC port on your TV.
  6. Connect a power cable to the bottom of each M5 or M7 speaker you want to use, and then turn them on.
  7. Open Settings on your TV, and then set Audio Output to HDMI ARC or eARC.
  8. Turn on all LG Sound Suite devices you want to connect.
  9. Slide the Mic switch on the back of your soundbar to turn on the microphone.
  10. Open the LG ThinQ app on your smartphone, register your devices, and then select Dolby Atmos FlexConnect.
